RE.INVENT II – Wedding Photography Workshop

Recently I had the opportunity to attend RE.INVENT II, a full day workshop hosted by Dror Eyal and Andrea Carlyle – two of the top wedding photographers in South Africa. I have admired their work for ages and in fact Andrea was the photographer for my wedding last year. What incredible photos! They both have developed their own unique styles that make them stand out in the industry. A workshop such as this shows that they are so willing to input into other photographers and help them grow into their own styles. The day was truly invaluable.

The event took place at Forum Homini boutique hotel. After the classroom part of the workshop we headed out into the field to put the day into practice. The model was actually none other than my wife Sarah – strange being the “wedding photographer” of my own bride.

I also met a bunch of great photographers on the course. Be sure to check out Dror’s post about the RE.INVENT Workshop here that has links to the other photographers’ posts.
